La cita reuni\u00f3 a 60 investigadores noveles y profesores de diferentes \u00e1reas de conocimiento<\/p>\n

Se ha celebrado en el Aula Magna de la Facultades de Física y Matemáticas de la Universidad de La Laguna<\/a>, durante los días 28, 29 y 30 de septiembre, el Primer Encuentro de Jóvenes Investigadores en Matemáticas (PEJIM), en el que han participado alrededor de 60 estudiantes <\/strong>de la Universidad de La Laguna, profesores universitarios y jóvenes investigadores en Matemáticas de diferentes áreas de conocimiento de Matemáticas: Análisis Matemático, Matemática Aplicada, Didáctica de las Matemáticas, Álgebra Geometría, Topología y Estadística e Investigación Operativa.<\/p>\n

Los asistentes, procedentes de varias universidades del ámbito nacional e internacional, han podido asistir a un total de 29 ponencias presentadas por jóvenes investigadores de las universidades de La Laguna, Carlos III (Madrid), Complutense (Madrid), Barcelona, Málaga, Almería, Instituto Tecnológico de la Universidad de Deusto,  Católica de Lovaina, París y Universidad de Bari (Italia), entre otras. <\/p>\n

Las ponencias han tenido un perfil divulgativo e interdisciplinar  y un número importante de ellas se relacionan con las diferentes aplicaciones que las matemáticas tienen en campos como la robótica, óptica, mecánica, criptografía, etc.  <\/p>\n

Los jóvenes investigadores, ponentes de los trabajos, han presentado las líneas generales de las diversas investigaciones que se encuentran desarrollando en la actualidad en los diferentes centros de investigación. Conviene señalar que aproximadamente los dos tercios de los ponentes son licenciados por la Universidad de La Laguna que están realizando su doctorado o investigación postdoctoral en los centros de investigación nacionales y extranjeros anteriormente mencionados.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
