\nEl evento est\u00e1 organizado por la Asociaci\u00f3n Orotava Hackerspace, con la colaboraci\u00f3n de la Fundaci\u00f3n General de la Universidad de La Laguna, a trav\u00e9s de la Unidad de Cultura Cient\u00edfica y de la Innovaci\u00f3n de la ULL, Cienci@ULL, y de la FECYT \u00a0(Fundaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola\u00a0 para las Ciencia y la Tecnolog\u00eda).
\nLa base de esta actividad est\u00e1 en el concepto de hack, que es una soluci\u00f3n r\u00e1pida a un problema, que puede no ser la mejor, pero suele ser la m\u00e1s original e inteligente. As\u00ed, el ?Science Hack Day Tenerife? es un encuentro en el que personas de distintas disciplinas -como programaci\u00f3n, dise\u00f1o, arte, ciencia, investigaci\u00f3n, divulgaci\u00f3n y comunicaci\u00f3n, entre otros- se re\u00fanen para realizar aplicaciones pr\u00e1cticas, proyectos divulgativos y\/o art\u00edsticos, y otros desarrollos basados en ciencia, con los que deben dar una soluci\u00f3n r\u00e1pida a una serie de retos que se plantear\u00e1n durante la jornada.
\nLa entrada tiene un coste de 10 euros, en el que se incluye una camiseta promocional del evento, el acceso gratuito a la red wifi, cuatro comidas y la asistencia a todo el programa de actividades. Adem\u00e1s, los participantes tendr\u00e1n algunas herramientas b\u00e1sicas a su disposici\u00f3n, tales como papel, cartulinas, una impresora 3D o Arduinos.
\nPero, hay otros elementos que los asistentes deben llevar como, un port\u00e1til y los programas inform\u00e1ticos que crean que van a necesitar, adem\u00e1s de todos los materiales espec\u00edficos que puedan precisar para elaborar sus proyectos.
\nTodos aquellos que quieran ser part\u00edcipes de la novedad del ?Science Hack Day Tenerife? y decidan quedarse a dormir, pueden hacerlo, siempre que sean mayores de edad y se lleven sus propios utensilios de campa\u00f1a. Aquellos que prefieran pasar la noche en su casa, deber\u00e1n tener en cuenta los horarios de apertura y cierre del evento.
\nEl comienzo de la jornada est\u00e1 previsto para el s\u00e1bado 25 de abril a las 9 de la ma\u00f1ana y su finalizaci\u00f3n a las 23 horas, con el cierre de puertas para aquellos que decidan no quedar a pasar la noche.
