El evento reunirá a más de un centenar de expertos en tecnología para debatir el futuro de las ‘Smart Cities’. Se celebrará los días 13 y 14 de marzo en el Centro Cívico La Camella, en Arona.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

El II Congreso de Ciudades Digitales<\/strong><\/em> se celebra esta semana, concretamente los días 13 y 14 de marzo<\/strong>, en el Centro Cívico La Camella, en Arona<\/strong>. Este evento tecnológico reunirá a más de un centenar de expertos en la materia y a representantes de administraciones públicas que expondrán sus experiencias en el desarrollo de ‘Smart Cities’. Este evento está organizado por la Confederación Española de Empresas Tecnológicas de la Información (Conetic), de la que forma parte el Clúster Canarias Excelencia Tecnológica. Además, también cuenta con la colaboración del Cabildo de Tenerife y el Ayuntamiento de Arona.<\/p>\n

La tecnología como herramienta puesta al servicio del bienestar de los ciudadanos será el eje sobre el que girará este II Congreso de Ciudades Digitales, cuyo programa incluye ponencias, mesas redonda, así como Smart Networking (un espacio para los congresistas que estén interesados en mantener encuentro de negocio con otros participantes en el Congreso), y Smart Market (un espacio dedicado a las empresas TEIC que estén interesadas en descubrir las necesidades tecnológicas de ayuntamientos y otras entidades demandantes de soluciones tecnológicas).<\/p>\n

El evento tiene el objetivo de poner en común del conocimiento y las capacidades que tienen las empresas del sector de las Tecnologías de la Información, la Comunicación y la Electrónica (TEIC), para ofrecer a los municipios los Avances Smart que se rigen bajo los principios de desarrollo sostenible, innovación tecnológica y eficiencia en la gestión.<\/p>\n

En esta edición se analizarán dos casos de éxito de colaboración público-privada: CARISMA una iniciativa que cuenta con el apoyo del Ministerio de Industria, Energía y Turismo de España en el que empresas y ayuntamientos de menos de 150.000 habitantes trabajan juntos para el desarrollo de estrategias inteligentes y el proyecto TEMIS una iniciativa del programa Interreg Sudoe de colaboración TIC para el ámbito sanitario.<\/p>\n
