El encuentro tuvo lugar en el Aula Magna de la Facultad de Ciencias Empresariales y Econ&oacute;micas de la Universidad y se dieron cita los j&oacute;venes universitarios con iniciativa emprendedora que se han venido formando en el programa Emprende.ull de apoyo al emprendimento universitario.<\/p>\n<p style='text-align: justify'>El acto estuvo inaugurado por Eduardo Dom&eacute;nech, rector de la Universidad de La Laguna; Efra&iacute;n Medina, Consejero Insular del &Aacute;rea de Empleo, Desarrollo Econ&oacute;mico, Comercio y Acci&oacute;n Exterior del Cabildo de Tenerife; Fernando Clavijo, alcalde de La Laguna. Todos ellos insistieron en la necesidad del emprendimiento como motor de desarrollo econ&oacute;mico en Canarias y las instituciones presentes mostraron su apoyo a <a href='http:\/\/emprendeull.ning.com\/' target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Emprende.ull<\/a>, programa insignia del emprendimiento universitario de la <a href='http:\/\/www.ull.es\/' target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Universidad de La Laguna<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style='text-align: justify'>En palabras del rector ?el emprendimiento universitario genera empleo para los titulados y tituladas universitarios, y es una forma de autoempleo dirigida a la diversificaci&oacute;n y especializaci&oacute;n en nuevas l&iacute;neas de mercado y la mejora constante a trav&eacute;s de la innovaci&oacute;n. Un emprendimiento con base cient&iacute;fica, tecnol&oacute;gica o, cuando menos, intensiva en conocimiento. No hay que ir muy lejos para comprobarlo? prosigui&oacute; ?cada una de las once iniciativas defendidas esta ma&ntilde;ana en el foro de presentaci&oacute;n de proyectos resume el trabajo de j&oacute;venes universitarios en iniciativas empresariales ilusionantes?.<\/p>\n<p style='text-align: justify'>El evento cont&oacute; con una amplia participaci&oacute;n, m&aacute;s de 150 personas inscritas y numerosas personas que acudieron de forma espont&aacute;nea y se debati&oacute; activamente sobre el papel de los emprendedores en el contexto actual de crisis econ&oacute;mica.<\/p>\n<p style='text-align: justify'>La jornada comenz&oacute; con la presentaci&oacute;n de los proyectos finalistas y la entrega de los <strong>&#8216;Premios PCTT a los mejores proyectos empresariales Emprende.ull&nbsp; 2012&acute;<\/strong>. Participaron en este certamen los estudiantes y egresados que se han formado durante los &uacute;ltimos meses en el <a href='..\/..\/es\/noticia\/diecisiete_proyectos_del_taller_de_iniciativas_empresariales_participaran_en_el_v_foro_de_emprendeduria_de_la_ull\/578\/' target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Taller de Iniciativas Empresariales <\/a>del programa Emprende.ull.&nbsp; El primer premio fue concedido al proyecto<a href='http:\/\/www.smetrica.com\/' target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Smetrica<\/a>, el segundo a <a href='http:\/\/www.freshcommerce.es\/' target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FreshCommerce <\/a>y la tercera posici&oacute;n la consigui&oacute; <a href='http:\/\/www.padelmondo.com\/index.aspx' target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Padel Mondo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style='text-align: justify'>A continuaci&oacute;n, Ricardo D&iacute;az Armas, Director del &Aacute;rea de Innovaci&oacute;n de la Fundaci&oacute;n Empresa Universidad de La Laguna, dio a conocer los servicios y trayectoria de Emprende.ull y anim&oacute; a los universitarios a participar en futuras ediciones.<\/p>\n<p style='text-align: justify'>A esto le sigui&oacute;, a las 16.50 horas, la intervenci&oacute;n de <strong>Javier Meg&iacute;as,<\/strong> un experto en estrategias innovadores y direcci&oacute;n de grandes proyectos, que disert&oacute; sobre el proceso de creaci&oacute;n de empresas o Starups, con una visi&oacute;n muy motivadora aunque tambi&eacute;n realista ya que aport&oacute; datos como que s&oacute;lo el 10% de las empresas de nueva creaci&oacute;n sobreviven tras los cinco primeros a&ntilde;os. Si bien, insisti&oacute; en la importancia del fracaso como aprendizaje y en el valor del esfuerzo y la perseverancia para lograr mantener un proyecto empresarial.<\/p>\n<p style='text-align: justify'>A continuaci&oacute;n, se desarroll&oacute; una mesa redonda con el t&iacute;tulo tema<strong> ?Recortes, austeridad? &iquest;emprendemos??<\/strong>, en la que intervinieron el propio Javier Meg&iacute;as; Enrique F&aacute;rez, Desarrollo de negocio e innovaci&oacute;n de Digital de Avisos; Jos&eacute; Luis Roda, Profesor e Investigador de la Universidad de La Laguna; Jezabel Molina, ingeniera inform&aacute;tica y emprendedora en el proyecto VaiPho&nbsp; y David Cabrera Primo, ingeniero inform&aacute;tico y emprendedor en el proyecto Kuipro.
